Despite the lopsided final score, the Knights held the lead in this contest for a while tonight. Wooster scored first, but WH answered with 2 goals of their own to take a 2-1 lead early in this contest. Garrett Obrst scored both goals for the Knights, the first in the 7th minutes and the second was in the 10th minute off a Jimmy Wengerd assist. The Knights battled hard in this contest but the Generals would soon even things up, and eventually find the back of the net twice more before halftime to take a 4-2 lead into the half. Wooster scored 4 more in the second half to finalize things at 8-2. Jordan Gerber had 11 BIG saves and freshman Gavin Hoover finished the last 15 minutes in goal, he had 10 saves in that short time and did not concede a goal. The Knights look to rebound at home on Thursday night against Triway.
