The West Holmes cross country teams competed at the Hoka Showcase on Saturday, August 29. The boys finished 23 out of 48 scoring teams with 702 points. Marshall Yoder led the way in 96th place out of 433 with a time of 18:45. Keith Kaster finished 112th in 18:58. Bryson Glassford, Jimmy Wengerd, and Remy Beachy also scored. Finn McClintock and Cal Pendlebury rounded out the varsity team. The girls team raced in the Hoka Showcase rase and finished 30th out of 43 scoring teams. Iriel Mena in 19:118 and Ava Reiheld in 19:27 led the way finishing 23rd and 27th respectively out of 394 runners. Sophie Arnold, Chelsie Cooper, and Ellie Babbit also scored for the Knights. Avery Peterson and Audrey Dixon rounded out the varsity team with personal bests.
