Lady Knights Battle Through Tough Round to Defeat Tusky Valley It might not have been the prettiest round, but the West Holmes Girls Varsity Golf Team came away with another victory Monday evening at Fire Ridge, defeating Tusky Valley 192-231. The back nine at Fire Ridge proved to be a challenge for the Lady Knights, but they battled through the tough conditions and came out on top. Sophie Robb led the Knights with a 43, recording 3 pars. Mattie Shankel followed with a 45 and 3 pars. Aubrey Burchfield and Payton Hudson each carded a 52, with Burchfield recording 1 par and Hudson also finishing with 1 par. Zoe Walter rounded out the lineup with a 63, including 1 par. Despite the challenging back nine, the Lady Knights showed determination and teamwork to secure another win.
