Charli Murphy opened the scoring five minutes into the game when she won the ball from a defender near midfield, outran the remaining defenders, and placed the ball into the back of the net.
River View answered five minutes later when a corner kick was played short. The ensuing shot hit the crossbar before being headed into the goal.
The Knights took the lead again when Kylie Turpen played a give-and-go with Murphy before Murphy placed the ball into the back of the net.
Two minutes into the second half, River View tied the game again with a shot from just outside the box.
The Knights retook the lead once more when a free kick was played to the edge of the box. The ball popped up before Murphy controlled it and placed it into the net, completing her hat trick.
With five minutes remaining, River View crossed the ball into the box. A heavy touch fell to an attacker, who poked the ball over a diving Landrie Croskey to tie the game at three.
Una Holasek, Ava Reiheld, and Breslyn Brown fought hard in the center of the field to help keep the Knights in the game.
Croskey finished with seven saves in the match.
