The Knight Boys and Girls Track & Field teams competed at the Meadowbrook Joe Kasper Invitational today and had some improved performances on last week’s meets. For the WH Boys Maddax Graham won the Discus with a Personal Best of 152’0” and was second in the Shot Put at 48’8”. The Boys 4×200 squad of Marshall Yoder, Garrett Obrst, Cody Gallion and Mac Craft improved by over 4 seconds on last week’s effort by finishing third in 1:34.28. Mac was 5th in the 200 and 8th in the 100, while Garrett finished 7th in the 200. Marshall finished 6th in the 300 hurdles, Charlie Cooper had a Personal Best in the Discus of 126’4” to finish 8th. The 4×100 relay team of Brady Carter, Cole Troyer, Garrett and Seth Lowe scored in 8th place with a two second improvement on last week. The Knight Girls were led by 9th grader Sophie Arnold finishing 3rd in the 3200 run along with sophomore Ellie Babbit 4th in the 3200. Katherine Kaster finished 4th in the 800 m run and 5th in the 1600 m run. McKaylin Getchey was 7th in the High Jump while Lilli Brown finished 8th. The 4×800 relay of Sophie, Ellie, Chelsie Cooper and Serenity McClintock finished 7th while the 4×400 relay of Katherine, Chelsie, Brooklyn Hustak and Alizah Sigler finished 8th. Both teams will host the West Holmes Knights Invitational next Saturday April 11 beginning with field events at 9:15 am.
