The Knight Boys and Girls Track & Field teams traveled to Wooster for a midweek Ohio Cardinal Conference meet with the Generals and both squads had some strong performances as they prepare for the Triway Invitational on Friday. The Knight Boys lost to the Generals 100-32 while the WH Girls fell 105-26. Scoring for the Boys was Maddax Graham, who won the Discus in a new Personal Best of 165’2″ and was 2nd in the Shot Put. Seth Lowe had a Personal Best in the Discus of 116’7″ while Chet Cooper had a lifetime best in the Shot Put at 39’10.5″ and Discus at 113’2″. Also Scoring for West Holmes was Jimmy Wengerd winning the 400 meters, Mac Craft 2nd in the 100 and 200, Marshall Yoder 2nd in the 300 hurdles, Rhett Chaney 2nd in the Long Jump at 20’3″ and Noah Grassbaugh 2nd in the High Jump at 5’2″. Owen Mallasch was 3rd in the 800 meters. For the Knight Girls Mallory Marmet was a winner in the Shot Put at 33’6.75″ and was 3rd in the Discus at 106’1″. Katherine Kaster won the 400 meters in 1:05.00, Iriel Mena was victorious in the 800 meters in a Personal Best of 2:25.78. The 4X400 relay team of Breslyn, Sophie Arnold, Chelsie Cooper and Katherine had a season best to win their race in 4:38.56. Breslyn was 2nd in the 800 meters, 3rd in the 100 meters while Alizah Sigler was 3rd in the 400 meters.
