The Knights hosted Dover in an OCC dual meet yesterday on WHHS Track & Field Senior Night at Knights Stadium. The Boys team had some outstanding performances despite losing to the Tornadoes 83 to 45. The Girls squad also had some impressive results but also fell to the visitors 82 to 37. Leading the way for the WH Boys team was Maddax Graham who once again earned the Throws Double with a win in the Shot Put at 52’5″ and another Personal and Season Best in the Discus, tossing the platter 168’11”. The Boys 4X100 team of Rhett Chaney, Garrett Obrst, Cody Gallion and Mac Craft had a huge season PR, getting the baton around the oval in 45.03, a 2 second improvement over last Friday’s best at Triway. Marshall Yoder won the 300 meter hurdles, Mac Craft won the 200 meters and was 2nd in the 100 meters. Noah Grassbaugh was 2nd in the High Jump, Chet Cooper 2nd in the Shot Put, Parker Garver 2nd in the 400 meters, Owen Mallasch 2nd in the 800 meters and 3rd in the 1600 meters, Jimmy Wengerd 2nd in the 1600 and Cole Troyer 3rd in the 800 meters. The Knight Girls were led by Mallory Marmet’s Throws Double with a 33’11” in the Shot Put and a Season Best of 119’1″ in the Discus. Also winning events for the Knights were Breslyn Brown in the 400 meters, Iriel Mena in the 800 meters and Mckaylin Getchy in the High Jump. Second places were earned by Katherine in the 200 meters and Iriel in the 400 meters and Sophie Arnold in the 800 meters. Third places were garnered by Katherine in the 400 meters, Ellie Babbitt in the 1600 meters and Lilli Brown in the 100 hurdles.
