Knights placed 13 wrestlers to earn a Sectional Runner-up finish at the 2026 OHSAA Sectional Tournament at Steubenville High School. The Knights had 10 wrestlers place in the top 4 to automatically qualify for the District Tournament. 3 wrestlers finished in District Alternate spots. Sectional Champions: Peyton Martin with a win over a returning State Qualifier in the Championship Semifinals and also over the #3 ranked wrestler in the State in the finals, Louden Dixon with an overtime win in the finals over the #16 NATIONALLY ranked wrestler and Camden McCluggage avenging a loss from Sectionals last season in the finals. Sectional Runner-up: Wyatt Crabb and Gabe Umstead 3rd Place finishers: Lincoln Goans and Dylan Sours 4th Place finishers: Colton Garver, Oliver Hiller and Easton Ross 5th Place finishers: Noah Grassbaugh and Finnigan McClintock 6th Place finisher: Ian Daugherty Next week, the West Holmes Wrestlers will compete at the District Tournament, March 13th and 14th at Gallia Academy for a chance to qualify for the State Tournament. Top 4 finishers at the District Tournament qualify for State.
